Bio

Actress Alessia Leoni graduated with a degree in Literature from La Sapienza University, Rome. She has also studied piano at Luisa D’Annunzio Conservatory (Italy). She is a member of both SAG and AFTRA.

She attended post-graduate courses in acting at the Accademia D’Arte Drammatica Silvio D’Amico with directors Luigi Squarzina, Walter Pagliaro, Lorenzo Salveti,G. Strehler, Peter Clough and Jean Paul Denizon. She took part in the productions of Teatro Stabile Abruzzese and Teatro Stabile of Rome with Lorenzo Salveti, Pippo Del Bono, Filippo Crivelli, Massimiliano Farau and Roberto Graziosi, and performed works by Claude Debussy, Francis Poulenc, Goffredo Petrassi, Matteo D’Amico, Ada Gentile, and Ennio Morricone.

Since 2004 she has been involved in the plays of Teatro La Comunità, headed by Giancarlo Sepe, and currently participates in the series of readings of Dante’s works for the Tor Vergata University in Rome. She also collaborates with RADIO RAI and performs in RAI Television movies. She also works as a voice-over talent in Italian in movies, cartoons, documentaries and commercials for Rosetta Stone, E! Entertainment, Sitcom TV and suchlike.

She moved to Los Angeles a few years ago and has since gone on to work in theatre projects at the Italian Cultural Institute and at UCLA , and in several independent movies with an international group of directors.
